Mary was born in Brooklyn, New York and attended Baruch College where she graduated with a B.A. and studied Industrial Psychology. During college, she was a professional ballroom champion and won the Harvest Moon Ball Dance Championship in 1974. After she married her husband Bob, she convinced him to train with her as her dance partner. They both competed in the Battle of Champions in New York City at Madison Square Garden and represented New York City on Dance Fever.
Mary owned one of the most successful flower and gift basket businesses in Las Vegas for over 10 years, and based her success on always providing the best possible customer service and always being there for her clients. Her customers included builders, realtors, utility companies and many of the hotels and casinos.
Mary moved to Florida in 2004 and obtained her real estate license, a passion she always wanted to do. Her continued professional work ethic resulted in Mary being named one of K. Burton & Associates Top Agent in sales for 2010 and Realtor of the year at the Women’s Council of Realtors in Cape Coral for 2011 where she is an active member.
Mary has been married to her husband Bob for 32 years and together they have a beautiful daughter who is a junior in college studying law at UCF in Orlando. Mary’s hobby (when she has the time) is sewing. “I am by no means an experienced seamstress, “she says, “but I enjoy quilting and sewing crafty items.”
